Comrades

"The two comrades did not stop, for going back would only mean death. They ran far from  that bloody place, ran until their legs refused to go any further. Standing on the edge of the forest, gasping for air, smile crossed their faces at the feeling of relief. The fresh air crackled loudly before it fell to silence with a metal clang. Shady turned around only to find his new friend stiff on the ground in puddle of blood. He would have screamed wasn't he suddenly thrown aside along with a dull sound of his breaking ribs. Gasping for air once more his voice failed him as the darkness crawled into his sight from all sides and the sound of wind battering against countless branches stalled."

I used variation of mechanical pencils and various hardness of regular ones...
The shading is still so damn confused, not mentioning the anatomy on that one.
